VICE PRESIDENT OF
OPERATIONS
THE COMPANY
This sophisticated technology Company is focused on the
design, development, manufacture and sales of advanced
electromechanical systems. The Company is relatively early
in its development with approximately 100 employees and
several platforms approaching product launch. The company is
well-capitalized and has an experienced and entrepreneurial
management team in place.
The POSITION
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations that
will report to the Chief Executive Officer. The person will
have overall responsibility for the Company’s procurement,
manufacturing, facilities and logistics operations. Direct
reports consist of the Supply Chain, Manufacturing
Engineers, Quality and Tech Ops. The operations team
currently consists of 11 employees with plans to grow
significantly in the future. The Vice President of will
transition new products into initial production and then
full ramp up.
To be considered
The successful candidate will have had a record of proven
success in operations and manufacturing in companies
producing relatively complex electromechanical systems.
· BS in Engineering or technical field is mandatory;
advanced technical or business degrees are desirable.
· Previous start-up or small emerging advanced
electromechanical systems technology company experience is
expected.
· Individual has managed and has a working knowledge of ALL
the manufacturing disciplines; Significant manufacturing
management experience in mechanical systems including
procurement, vendor management, manufacturing engineering,
component/final assembly, test, quality, and logistics.
· Successful leader that employs a hands-on, engaged
management style. Leads by example.
· Broad, extensive and comprehensive experience in managing
external mechanical/electromechanical vendors, sub-systems
providers, and contract manufacturers. Future volume
manufacturing for the Company will be done at contract
manufacturers.
· Demonstrated electromechanical systems NPI experience.
Specific experience in new product mechanical design and
introduction is desired.
· Experience installing and effectively utilizing ERP/MRP
systems.

company which manufactures capital goods. The type of
manufacturing they do involves metal bending, electronics
and assembly. Revenue for the site is in excess of $400
million and there are approximately 1,000 employees. They
are looking for a Site Managing Director to oversee
this key and highly visible operation. This is an excellent

Client is a worldwide
multibillion dollar manufacturer. This position is located
in N.J.
Procurement Manager
Responsible for the acquisition of outsourced products. This
is a senior position, managing a large staff and a $60M
budget.
· Major duties include planning the overall acquisition
strategy; generating/implementing source selection plans,
developing/coordinating RFI/RFP Statements of Work and
Technical Specification requirements, negotiations and
source selection of major suppliers; managing and
controlling outsourced activities to assure performance
against customer requirements, schedules and financial
goals. Working through a matrix organization, manage a team
of engineering, quality, finance, and administrative
personnel.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have Aerospace, Government, FAA and/or Defense
industry experience
· Successful application of Program Management skills on
significant development programs
· 12+years of Program Management, Proven expertise in
complex supply management or supply chain management
activities and Sound practical engineering skills
· BS degree
· Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and
procurement processes
· 10% travel domestically and internationally as required
· US Citizenship required
Location: New Jersey Relocation is available.
